Saturday at Shelter Neck the crew of volunteers were amazing! They completed tearing out the bathrooms in Williams, the wash area linoleum, threw out mattresses, furniture, and created a locked chapel door! Thank you to all the volunteers: Jane Harrison, UUFR, Jim Hurdis, UUFR, Robert Perkins, Community Church of Chapel Hill, Sam Moore, UUFR, Andy Wasilewski, UUFR/UUCKinston, Logan Hamilton, UUC Greensboro and Community Youth Group, and his Dad, Rob of UUC Greensboro, and  Susan Wasilewski, UUCKinston/UUFR.

Additional thanks go out to the Youth Group under the guidance of RE Director, CoraMcCold, of the UU Church Belmont, MA who have volunteered to come to North Carolina and assist with Shelter Neck UU Camp flood relief and flood relief in New Bern! What an amazing gift! We cannot wait to meet your group of 30 youth and adults in February!

Join us again Saturday, November 17, from 9:30 am -4:30 pm to complete tearing out walls and plywood floor in Williams, continue taking out the lath in Dix House and begin to tear out the tile dining and kitchen floors. We need you! Register on our ShelterNeckRecovery.weebly.com volunteer link!
Thank you for you are doing to restore our beloved church retreat!
Thank you!
